The mission of Northwood Academy is to engage, empower, and equip students 
with an emphasis on college preparation, through academic and character development
supplemented by the arts, athletics, and the humanities, 
with Christian values forming the underlying foundation.

As you review this site, we trust that you will find helpful information to inform your enrollment decision.  While it provides an extensive overview of our schools and programs, we know that it is unable to adequately convey the passion of our instructional and support staff or the character and commitment of our students.  

Northwood Academy is an Infant – 12th grade, college-preparatory, Christian school holding COGNIA (formerly AdvancED) accreditation and advanced accreditation from the South Carolina Independent Schools Association (SCISA).  We encourage you to schedule a tour of our campus and explore how over 40 years of God-honoring educational leadership in our community has uniquely positioned us to impact future generations from Carnes Crossroads.
