HONOR GRADUATES
- HIGH HONORS
- Granted to seniors who have maintained an overall numeric average of 95 or better throughout High School.
- HONORS
- Granted to seniors who have maintained an overall numeric average of 90 to 94 throughout High School.
JUNIOR MARSHALLS
These students represent the school at a variety of official functions such as graduation. Juniors who have maintained a numeric average of 90 or above during high school (through third quarter of the junior year) are recognized as Junior Marshals at the annual Awards Banquet.
CLASS RANK
Class rank is computed at the end of the senior year according to the standard state grading scale. Only students that have attended Northwood Academy for their Junior and Senior year and have completed at least two advanced placement courses are eligible to be Valedictorian or Salutatorian. Valedictorian and Salutatorian are computed based on numeric averages.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Northwood Academy graduation requirements meet the South Carolina Department of Higher Education suggested college admission requirements and are designed to make sure a student will meet the minimum college entrance requirements at most universities. Students should check the college catalog of the schools they are interested in attending to determine additional requirements.

SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT
Seniors are required to complete a series of community service activities prior to graduation. The administration, in cooperation with the senior class, determines what these service requirements will be and when they must be fulfilled to meet the graduation requirement.
